Hello world!  Today I was born: 7 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long.  My umbilical cord was wrapped twice around my neck, so I spent my first 6 hours in the NICU, but finally got to meet my Mommy and Daddy this evening.  My Mommy says that my future is so bright, that two big stars past away today just to make room for me!

Today I came home for the very first time.  I got to meet my puppy, Zsa-Zsa. She is very soft.  I have a beautiful room.  It's fit for a princess and everything is pink!  I think I'm going to like it here.

Today is my two week birthday...I know because my Mommy sings "Happy Birthday" to me, every week.  Mommy and Daddy and I had our pictures made today.  A nice photographer lady came to the house.  She thought it would be very pretty to take some pictures a'natural, so I tinkled all over Daddy.  It's okay, he loves me anyway.

Today was Daddy's birthday.  He had a big cake that looked like a hamburger and I helped blow out the candles.

Today I went with Mommy and Oma to have my 4 week pictures done.  I got to wear a tutu, pearls, and angels wings.  I think I like taking pictures!  Maybe I'll be a model when I grow up.

Today I smiled at Mommy for the very first time.  She was changing my diaper and she told me she loved me.  I looked up at her and gave her a big smile!  I love Mommy.

Today I went to see my very first movie: Julie and Julia.  I slept through most of it, but I think I may want to be a famous French Chef like Julia Childs when I grow up.  Maybe my first word will be "Bonjour"!

Today was my first trip to the nail salon.  I can't wait until I'm big enough for my feet to reach the tub...I'd like to get a pedicure!!!

Today my Aunt Kimberly came into town to meet me.  I spent all morning smiling at her.  She's pretty.  I hope she comes to see me again soon.

Today is my two month birthday!  I went to the doctor so they could see how well I'm growing.  I'm now 11 lbs 3 oz and 23 inches long!  The doctor says I'm perfect for my height and weight.  Mommy and Oma took me for sushi to celebrate.

Today I went to the mall for the first time.  We were looking for clothes for my cousin, Morgan, but I didn't mind.  I liked to look at all the colors of the clothes and all the people.  They like looking at me too.  Shopping is fun.

Today Mommy, Daddy, and I went to church to take our directory pictures.  Mommy bought me a pretty new dress to wear: it's white and fluffy and it came especially for me all the way from Arkansas (wherever that is).

This evening it finally got cooler.  Mommy took me outside at Oma's house and we swang in the big swing.  Mommy says that it's the same swing that she and Oma swung in when she was a baby.  I liked to look at the trees and feel the breeze in my face.  I wasn't sure what the breeze was at first...I never felt it before, so I made funny little gasping noises, but I liked it.

I had a fussy time tonight and Mommy couldn't settle me down.  Finally, she took me outside and I stopped crying.  I like being outside.  We went for a walk and I looked at all the trees and the deer.  The world is a very big place.

Today Mommy and Oma took me shopping.  I like to shop.  While I was riding around the store in my stroller, I couldn't help but notice my pretty patent shoes.  I leaned way over and picked my feet up so I could get a better look.  I spent about 15 minutes looking at the light reflecting in them and coo-ing.  I think my first word will be "shoe".  Daddy is nervous because Mommy likes shoes too.  He says that it must be heriditary.

Today Mommy took me shopping.  She likes to look at boring stuff like Mommy clothes and shoes.  I wimpered and fussed.  Finally, she took me over to the baby section and I immediately stopped crying.  I like to look at baby stuff - it's not boring at all when we're shopping for me.  As soon as we left the baby section, I started fussing again right away.  I only like looking at baby clothes.  After we left the store, we went to Oma and Grandpa's and I saw my first rainbow.

Today is my 3 month birthday!!!  Mommy took me to take pictures at JC Penney to celebrate.  They said that I'm so photogenic that they're going to use my photo in all the JC Penney Photo Studios nationwide!  I got to wear my very own "pageant" sash and some special bloomers Mommy had made for me.  They have my name and a sparkley crown on them.  I felt pretty, but modeling is hard work!!!  After 30 minutes or so, I was ready for a nap.

Today I went to the Buddy Walk to support my friend Alberto.  It was lots of fun to see all the other little boys and girls and I got to ride in my new jogging stroller - it's comfy and I like it!!  There was a train and a bouncy castle, face painting, and train rides.  I'm still too little for those things, but I look forward to going back next year when I'm a little bigger.

Saturday, October 3, 2009
Today I went to a baby shower for my cousin Evan.  Mommy says that Evan is going to be my buddy - I'll only be 4 months older than him!  That's really neat because his Daddy, Chris, is only 9 months older than my Mommy.  Evan and his mommy, Susie, got lots of great stuff and I got to meet my other cousins Deborah, Jill, and Patty for the first time.  I was really tired, though, and got fussy.  That makes me sad, because I'm normally a much better baby than that.

Saturday, October 10, 2009
Today I rolled over for the very first time!!!  It was FUN!  It was little hard getting my shoulders over, but once I did, I realized that I could do it again!

Wednesday, October 28, 2009
Today I got to have my first solid food!  I think they call it "rice cereal".  It didn't taste like much and that spoon thing is strange, but I'll get the hang of it!

Friday, October 30, 2009
Today I got to try on my Halloween costume and take my Halloween photos.  I'm a little mermaid.  Mommy says I'm the littlest mermaid.  This evening, Mommy and Daddy to me to a fall festival.  There were lots of kids there and my cousin Morgan even came too.  It was a fun day!!

Saturday, October 31, 2009
Today is Halloween.  Mommy took me to "trick or treat" at the mall.  Lots of people stopped me to say "hello".  Then. we went to fall festival at church and finally we went over to my Aunt Julia's to hand out candy and trick or treat with Morgan.  She was a cheerleader.

Today I got to try prunes.  They are sweet and taste better than rice cereal.  I got so excited that I kept putting my hand in my mouth and ended up smearing it all over my face.  Prunes are good!

Saturday, November 7, 2009
This morning, Mommy took me to the American Heart Association Heart Walk.  Her Miss San Antonio, Miss Teen San Antonio, and Mrs. Victoria were all there doing an appearance (whatever that is).  They were all very nice and said I looked cute in my jogging suit and tennis shoes.  Then, this evening, Mommy and Daddy took me to a Piggies and Paws Party.  They put ink on my feet and make artwork.  It felt funny, but it seemed to make Mommy and Daddy happy.

Monday, November 9, 2009
Today I got to try peaches.  Peaches are even yummier than prunes.  I'm really getting used to this eating thing.  I've learned to open my mouth when the spoon comes to toward it -- eating is fun!

Today Mommy, Oma, and Grandpa took me to Lost Maples.  There are lots of pretty trees there and Mommy, Aunt Julia, Oma and Grandpa used to go every year when Mommy was small.  We took lots of pictures.

Tuesday, November 17, 2009
Today I learned a new trick.  I can roll front to back and back to front.  In fact, I rolled across the entire floor in Mommy's office.  I'm very proud of myself!

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to Bastrop, Texas to celebrate an early Thanksgiving.  I had lots of relatives there...a great grandma and aunts and uncles that I had never met.  My pretty Aunt Kimberly was there too.  She is good at holding me.  Daddy played horse shoes.  It was pretty cold, but I had fun!

Thursday, November 29, 2009
Today was my very first Thanskgiving!!!  Mommy, Daddy, and I went to my Aunt Julia's house and my Oma, Grandpa, cousins Morgan, and Sean, and my Great Aunt Janice and Great Uncle John were all there.  There was lots of food and I got to try sweet potatoes - yummy!  Mommy says next year I can try more things because I'll have teeth.

Tuesday, December 1, 2009
Today Mommy got me all dressed up and we went to meet a funny man named Santa Claus.  He wears a furry suit and has a beard like Daddy -- only longer and white!  He asked me what I want for Christmas, but I don't think he understood me.  Apparently he comes and brings toys to all the good little boys and girls on December 25th.  Isn't that nice?  He must be a very good man.  I like him.

Wednesday, December 9, 2009
Today Oma and Mommy took me for a long car ride.  We went someplace called Houston for a Christmas surprise.  The best part of the day was when we went for dinner on the way home.  It was a place called Rainforest Cafe.  There were pretty things to look at like water falls and animals and big butterflies.  There were stars too -- right inside the building!

Saturday, Decmeber 12, 2009
Mommy entered me into a baby photo contest that benefited a friend of hers.  They say I'm "1st Runner Up to Miss Merry Christmas" and that I was the youngest conestant!  I really don't know what all that means, but I got a sash and a tiara.  Mommy says that I don't need a title to know how special I am.  My Mommy really loves me.

Sunday, December 13, 2009
Today we went to Fiesta Texas: Mommy, Daddy, Oma, Aunt Julia, Morgan and Sean.  There were lots of pretty lights and that nice man Santa was there too!  He really gets around.  I he has to be lots of places to know what all the little boys and girls want for Christmas.  We saw a show about Jesus and there were camels and sheep and beautiful angels flying around the sky.  I also got to meet Frosty The Snowman.

Friday, December 18, 2009
Spent most of this past week shopping with Mommy and Oma.  It's a good thing that I like to shop.  All the stores look pretty much the same, but the people are fun to look at -- they all smile and say "hello".  Sometimes I get tired and take a nap.  When I wake up we're still shopping.  I never knew shopping was such hard work!

Saturday, December 19, 2009
Today Mommy, Oma, Grandpa, and my cousin Sean went to a little German town called Fredericksburg.  Grandpa and Sean went to a war museum and Mommy, Oma, and I went shopping.  We walked up and down Main Street and looked at lots of little shops.  There were lots of people and almost all of them stopped to say "hi".  I got to wear a special Christmas coat Mommy bought me and I was nice and warm.  I got a beautiful ornament for the Christmas Tree.  It's a hand-painted, rocking horse, that glitters and says "Baby's First Christmas".  Mommy says that it's my very special ornament that we'll keep forever.
